Casting Lead in short film shooting March 15-16th. 8 hour shoot days. This is the capstone project for a student film school project titled Writers in the Shadows. It's a dark comedy that explores the gruesome side of the Writers Room with some thrilling surprises.
JOCELYN Lead 30-45 African American woman, is the studio producer and leads her team with commanding grace, yet she is also deceitful and cynical. She is beautiful and statuesque. Think Olivia Pope (Scandal) or Annalise Keating (How to Get Away With Murder). Shooting in Woodbridge Virginia March 15th and 16th. 8 hours in the evenings. Casting by self-tapes. Please send resume, headshot, and 30 sec of a dramatic or dark comedic monologue (WeTransfer or Youtube link) to the producer Erika Timmons- erikatimmons@gmail.com.
