Brief Synopsis: Emmanuel finds himself with internal conflict as he prepares to spend quality time with his siblings before witnessing an aggressive moment with his brother Antwon toward a group of young queer women, leading Emmanuel to prevent a murder. This project is a reimagining of the tragic altercation that took Newark, NJ native Sakia Gunn's life in 2003 at age 15. In this alternate reality, Emmanuel acts as a hopeful demonstration, challenging toxic masculinity and violence by engaging Antwon in a dialogue of understanding and empathy.
