Our 2022-2023 Season begins OCT 4 with The Till Trilogy, a series of plays by Ifa Bayeza that celebrate the life and legacy of Emmett Till, and a turning point in American history. Directed by Talvin Wilks, the three plays—The Ballad of Emmett Till, Benevolence, and the world premiere That Summer in Sumner—will be performed simultaneously for the very first time.   Our ensemble—Antonio Michael Woodard, Jaysen Wright, Vaughn Ryan Midder, Billie Krishawn, Rolonda Watts, Scott Ward Abernethy, Drew Kopas, Chris Genebach, and Anna DiGiovanni—will play 75 characters and bring Till's story to the stage in the theatrical event of the season!   Plays in The Till Trilogy can be seen in any order, or individually as a standalone theater experience.
