Please join us and support the mission to find a cure for paralysis at the Run In The Dark 5km/10km event at National Harbor on November 13, 2019.
The event is organized by the Mark Pollock Trust and hosted by Lagan US, Inc. Mark Pollock is a truly inspirational individual. He is both blind and paralyzed from the chest down. The resilience Mark has shown throughout his journey and his mission to find a cure for paralysis in his lifetime and walk again is remarkable and inspiring. He has immense strength of spirit, good humor and positive outlook, here's a link to one of his many TEDTalks; (TEDTalk - Mark Pollock)
In order to achieve his goal to find a cure for paralysis, Mark and his team have created a foundation, the Mark Pollock Trust, which hosts annual 5K / 10K runs called Run In the Dark held around the world each year on an evening in mid-November. This year, on Wednesday November 13, 2019, more than 25,000 people from 50 cities worldwide will participate in the event. Lagan US are fortunate to take on the challenge to serve as host and lead sponsor for the Run In the Dark event this year for the DMV area at National Harbor. The goal have 300 - 500 participants this year and set the stage for a much larger event next year. It would be great if you, your colleagues and friends and family come out and join us as participants, volunteers or corporate sponsors.
