„Hi there! My name is Emily Cory and I work with BWI Airport, The Maryland State Department of Education and with Yumi Hogan, the First Lady of Maryland. We are working together on an exciting opportunity for Hungarian American Artists in the Maryland and DC area. I was hoping you wouldn't mind sharing the following call to artists.
I am writing to you all to bring your attention to and/or seek your help for an exciting opportunity for the Maryland/DC Hungarian community. The BWI Static Arts Committee would like to feature Hungarian or Hungarian-American artists in the Maryland/D.C. area in one of the exhibition spaces in the Baltimore-Washington Airport, serving the purpose of representing the international community as a whole in our region.
The timeline of this exhibition is as follows:
· Artwork delivered, installed and curated - April 23 2019
· Reception and Exhibition Opening - May 2019
· Un-installation and return of artwork - August 2019
In addition to seeking submission from our local Hungarian, Hungarian-American artists, I am also seeking your help in passing along the information to and locating these artists in our community. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in this exhibition, please submit the following google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeoTDT04VUXELphE7m_cBIV8-vf6EZZI7rkLpzi3bxyQS_SYQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
