[Unicum] INVITATION: Harvest Ball, Sunday, October, 7, 2018 5pm at Bretton Woods

Dear Friends,

Please join us for our 2nd Harvest Ball - Szüreti Bál on SUNDAY, October 7, 5PM at Bretton Woods Club. 

When: Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 5pm

Where: Bretton Woods Recreation Center, 15700 River Road, Germantown, MD 20874

Music for the evening will be provided by Potomac Band and the Smokers from New Brunswick. A short program will include folk dances by the Hungarian Scouts of Washington, DC in authentic Hungarian folk costumes and Judit Havas from Budapest. The dinner featuring of chicken paprikash, goulash, and other delicacies with Hungarian wines will end with "Dobos torta" and other Hungarian delicacies. We will provide care for children and separate program throughout the night with puppet show, games, arts and craft and movie downstairs. 

Proceeds from the Ball will support Hungarian language and cultural programs in the area: Hungarian Academy, Hungarian Scouts of Washington DC, American Hungarian Heritage House. 6:00pm Silly Socks Puppet Show for kids (downstairs)

7:00pm Welcome toast

7:15pm Dr. László Szabó Hungarian Ambassador to the United States

7:30pm Hungarian style dinner (chicken paprikash, goulash, and other delicacies with Hungarian wines)

8:30pm Judit Havas performer from Budapest

8:45pm Hungarian Folk Dance

9:00pm Silent Acution, Raffle

9:30pm Dance by Smokers Band from New Brunswick
