Regional Field Organizer is responsible for managing a small team, recruiting, training and managing volunteer teams, coordinating phone banks and canvasses, and direct voter engagement. The chosen candidate will be directly responsible for meeting goals and delivering metrics relayed to them.

 

Responsibilities include:

·      Management of a small team of organizers.

  • Ensure that all staff and volunteers are properly trained and consistently productive throughout the day.
  • Cutting turf and assigning work through voter databases.

·      Identifying, recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer teams; 

·      Detailed regular reporting of activities as well call and knock results;

  • Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.  
  • Ensure that all required reporting is accurate and timely and entered on time.  
  • Monitor metrics within each assigned region including knocks per shifts, flake rate, completion rate, confirmation rate; implementing rigorous systems to meet assigned goals associated with metrics.  

Our ideal candidate for the position has the following qualifications:

·      Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds;

·      Must be able to work independently and in team settings;

·      Must be able to work long and irregular hours as needed;

·      Basic computer literacy and database skills;

·      Must have a driver's license and access to a car;

·      Previous campaign experience or community organizing experience preferred but not necessary

  • Strong knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, database skills, and access to a reliable portable computer.
