Project Manager for Trade and Economic Development Wanted at the Embassy of Hungary

 

The Embassy of Hungary in Washington, DC has a vacancy for a Project Manager Trade and Economic Development. The successful applicant will be responsible for trade and economic development and investment promotion. The position starts with a probationary period of 90 days and comes with a competitive remuneration package.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Working under the direction of the Project Leader for Trade and Economic Development on assigned specific projects related in the field of trade and economic development and investment promotion.

·         Advising and assisting Hungarian and American companies.

·         Liaising with relevant government and non-governmental institutions both in the U.S. and in Hungary involved in Trade and Investment Promotion.

·         Developing and maintaining business and industry networks.

·         Educating partners about new opportunities, developing and winning new business.

·         Organizing and participating in missions, visits, meetings, trade shows and presentations related to the Economic and Trade Office’s portfolio.

 

Qualifications:

·         The successful candidate must have a university degree and relevant work experience.

·         Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

·         Proficiency in English and Hungarian - oral and written.

·         Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure individually and as a member of the team.

·         Ability to handle business data and deal with counterparts in a friendly, confidential and professional manner.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

·         Clean record, must be able to work legally in the USA.
