(Career Progress) Joint Center Research Fellow

Wonderful opportunity with the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. 

To Whom It May Concern: 

The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, a Washington DC think-tank founded in 1970 focused on communities of color, is seeking a Research Fellow. The fellowship is a full-time, one-year position for those with a journalism master's degree or a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of full-time writing experience. The Research Fellow will manage the process of producing innovative white papers designed to provide data, analysis, and recommendations to elected officials who serve communities of color. Specifically, the Research Fellow will work with the Joint Center President to identify and recruit top experts and elected officials to serve on research committees (e.g., technology, workforce development, civic engagement). Working with the expert research committees, the Research Fellow will facilitate the process of researching, outlining, drafting, and revising white papers.
