WSR members,

You (along with a "plus one" non-member) are invited to the 2^nd annual Happy Hour on Rita's Rooftop (HHRR).

Wednesday, October 9, 6 PM.

Rita Solon, our gracious hostess, will provide wine & cheese.  If you'd like to bring wine or a snack, it's always welcome (but no obligations).

Location is 565 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC.

Parking can be tough, but there are garages.  If you're going by Metro, 2 closest stops are Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Qtr (green and yellow lines) and Judiciary Square (red line).

Arrive at the Newseum Residences' entrance – the event is being held on the rooftop.  The door to get up there is on 6th street (next to the entrance for  Wolfgang Puck's The Source restaurant).

Ask for Rita Solon at the front desk.

The event is on an open rooftop, so dress comfortably for the evening weather.

In case of rain, we'll need to cancel (probably that morning), & reschedule for the spring.

RSVP to washspeech@gmail.com (and don't forget to tell us if you're bringing a non-member guest).  The sooner the better -- we'll probably need to cut things off when we hit a certain number.  So please only RSVP if you're quite certain you'll come.
