*Job Title:* Data Training Manager
*Organization:* New Organizing Institute

*Position Summary:*
The New Organizing Institute (NOI) is seeking a full-time Data Training
Manager to develop beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level curriculum,
recruit and prepare trainers, implement creative outreach and participant
recruitment strategies, and work directly with partner organizations to
shape the training program.
The ideal candidate for this position has managed data for electoral or
issue campaigns and successfully trained organizers, directors, and
stand-alone data managers to use data and technology.
NOI is a progressive organization that builds capacity and sophistication
in the progressive movement in the areas of technology and new media,
especially as they relate to organizing. NOI offers numerous trainings for
progressive practitioners, engages in data research, and coordinates with a
wide range of progressive partners to leverage common interests in the
improvement of technology options in the field.
*Responsibilities:*
· Successfully train beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level
practitioners to use data and technology to change the world
· Manage all training logistics, from the initial application and
recruitment efforts to the final participant send-off and post-training
coaching and support
· Work with existing contacts, partner organizations, and industry
experts to develop new training curriculum, participant guides, and
workshop materials
· "Train the Trainers" by helping expert trainers to clearly
articulate and convey complex curriculum to participants
· Additional responsibilities as needed
· Up to 25% travel required

· Commitment to progressive technology, training, and excellence
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Fast and eager learner, willing to take risks
· Significant experience working with electoral or issue-campaign data
· Demonstrated technical abilities (VAN, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Familiarity with voter file data and tools, Access, GIS, MySQL, and
Scripting (some skills can be learned on the job)
· Steadfast leadership and a high level of patience are required

The New Organizing Institute (NOI) is looking for a superstar Logistics
Coordinator to join the Campaign/Training team. The Logistics Coordinator
will report to the Training Manager, and will be responsible for managing
all logistics for each of NOI/NOIEF's 2-day and weeklong trainings. The
Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in taking our
high-performing, fast-growing, and fun organization to the next level!

Our team is training and coaching organizers on the planning, execution &
evaluation of cutting-edge campaigns to build long-term political power

*Job **Responsibilities include:*
- Ensure that all NOI Trainings achieve the highest standards of
excellence through logistical support.
- Work closely with each training lead on the planning and execution of
NOI Trainings, including managing space, food, hotels, materials, travel,
and participant and trainer needs.
- Build relationships with vendors, organizations, and volunteers.
Represent NOI/NOIEF well to all external partners.
- Maintain and support "safe spaces" during trainings.
- Manage all training related finances and expenses in close
coordination with each training lead, including making purchases,
submitting receipts, and related processes.
*Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will have:
· High attention to detail
· Ability to handle a large volume of work enthusiastically and without
errors or crises
· Ability to adapt on-the-spot to problem situations as they arise at
trainings.
· An acute perception of room dynamics and participant needs.
· Group problem-solving skills, especially an ability to work with staff to
identify challenges, generate solutions, and present recommendations.
· A clear understanding of NOI's values of excellence, courage, respect,
and innovation, and a passion for progressive organizing.
· Strong writing skills, and an ability to convey passion for our work in
writing
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry
· Confidence to interact with external partners, organizations, and clients

A Democratic statewide campaign in Virginia is seeking petition organizers
to assist with signature collection across the Commonwealth.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Collect and validate signatures of registered Virginia voters across the 11
Congressional Districts
Create and maintain a list of all local and regional events (both political
and community related)
Attend local and regional events to collect signatures and talk to
potential supporters
Develop and implement a plan for collecting signatures outside of public
events (locations etc)
Recruit supporters for candidate (via supporter cards)
Meet and build relationships with local Democratic leaders and activists
Develop a list of supporters and volunteers for designated area
Requirements: Applicants should have at least one election cycle of
experience, ideally in field. Applicants should have strong organizational,
communication and interpersonal skills and be familiar with the Virginia
political landscape /process and Virginia geography.
This will be a monthly contract position beginning as soon as possible.
