FY2026-Cycle 2 | Application Deadline February 2, 2026, 11:59 PM

Organizations awarded a community grant in the most recent cycle
(e.g., FY26-Cycle 1) are not eligible to apply for an FY26-Cycle 2 grant.
 

For Fiscal Year (FY) 2026, Events DC is pleased to provide funding for the Community Grant program in the amount of $750,000, distributed in two cycles of $375,000 each. This program provides financial support to qualifying non-profit organizations that are dedicated to supporting children and youth through sports, performing arts and cultural arts programming in the District of Columbia. We invite all qualifying organizations within the District to apply.

GALVANIZE: Screening - The Route Series

i am excited to announce the screening of The Route Series, a three short film series that highlights the achievements of three Black women who made history!

Looking for an engaging lesson on history that's entertaining and informative - grab your ticket today!

Good morning, everyone!

I am reaching out as I'm in need of about 10 people to judge about 100 entries each by Tuesday, January 6 for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Due to schedule conflicts and changes, we are short some jurors.

If you have time and interest, please email me at intheloopprogram@gmail.com as soon as possible - your name, preferred genre (poetry, short stories, flash fiction, memoir, or journalism), contact number, and gift card preference.
