Thea Washington Casting is partnering with BGE to find community members with unique stories, talent, passions, and real-life experiences, particularly those who have participated in a BGE energy efficiency program and want to share how it impacted their home and life.

We're connecting with people from all walks of life, across backgrounds, ages, and industries
entrepreneurs, creators, homeowners, families, and everyday community members who bring
something real and authentic to what they do.This is a paid opportunity to share your story on a larger platform. Filming will take place in your home or creative space, so selected participants must be comfortable having a small production team film on location.

This is a paid opportunity, $3500* (Break down below) :

• $500 session fee (per shoot day)

• $2,000 usage fee (if selected as a principal participant- limited to 2 principal per story)

• $1,000 location fee (if your home is selected for filming)

• $300 per person for any friends or family booked as background

We are especially interested in people who have participated in a BGE program, such as:

• Home Energy Audit or Quick Home Energy Check-up

• Switching from gas, oil, or propane to electric

• Appliance recycling (pickup or drop-off)

• Rebates, HVAC programs, or My Account

We are prioritizing submissions from:

• Anne Arundel County (Annapolis area)

• Towson, Parkville, Carney

• Aberdeen, Perryman

• Havre de Grace

• And surrounding and rural areas within Anne Arundel, Harford, Baltimore County, Carroll, Howard, Cecil, and Calvert counties

Filming will take place in your home or personal space with a small, professional crew. No acting experience is needed. We are looking for real people willing to share a bit about their life and experience.

Shoot dates are scheduled for May 11–15, and selected participants will only be needed for 1–2 days.
