GALVANIZE: DC Library Offering Free film classes

From the DC Public Library

(Note from Joy: A DC Library is required for registration)

Get ready for an epic 8 session virtual workshop starting January 16th at 6pm until 7:30pm

Lights! Camera! Action! Learn how to make movies like a pro, while bonding with fellow film enthusiasts and getting constructive feedback.

The Five Dollar Filmmaking Club will guide participants through the process of creating a 5 minute horror short on a shoestring budget.  This 8 session workshop will focus on discussion and dissection of existing independent horror content, building filmmaking skills, and sharing support and feedback.  The workshop will culminate in a library-sponsored film festival showcase event at the end of May.  Registrants will receive information and instructions on how to join this virtual meet-up.
