Media Engagement & Communications Internship Position:
Will work under the principal of our media engagement & communications division. Responsibilities include researching clips, identifying media opportunities and engaging with reporters, producers, writers and editors.
Candidates should have strong communication skills, and strong, creative thinking, writing and editing skills. We are seeking candidates primarily pitching stories to television, radio, print and online outlets. Experience or demonstrable interest in media relations, advocacy and political campaigns preferred. Candidates must have a desire to work on social justice, energy and environment, healthcare, grassroots organizing, and international issues.
Experience using Cision, TV Eyes, and other media monitoring platforms is a plus.
Applicants should be able to commit at least 3 months to the internship program. Interns will receive a stipend each month. We are seeking recent college graduates with some previous internship experience (or demonstrable interest in) working in the communications field who are looking for an opportunity for growth.

All candidates must be comfortable with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
