A full service, progressive political consulting firm is seeking full or part time Fall interns for its fundraising department in its Washington, DC office. Candidates should be current college/ graduate students or recent grads who are looking to gain political fundraising experience.

[Unicum] Fulbright scholarship in Washington DC

Péczeli Anna vagyok, a Magyar Külügyi Intézet külső munkatársa és a Budapest Corvinus Egyetem harmadéves PhD hallgatója, a Nemzetközi Kapcsolatok Doktori Iskolában.

Október elejétől kaptam egy Fulbright „visiting student researcher” ösztöndíjat, mellyel egészen 2014. április végéig Washington DC-ben leszek. A fogadóintézetem a Federation of American Scientists kutatóintézet Nuclear Information Projectje. A kintlétem alatt a disszertációmat szeretném befejezni, melynek pontos témája az Obama-adminisztráció nukleáris stratégiája.

A szálláskeresés kapcsán szeretnék segítséget kérni. Erre a hét hónapra keresek egy megfizethető albérletet, ahonnan a fogadóintézetem viszonylag könnyen elérhető (az intézet a Farragut North metrómegálló közvetlen közelében van).

My name is Anna Péczeli, I’m an adjunct fellow at the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs and a third year PhD student at Corvinus University of Budapest, International Relations Doctoral School.

I received a Fulbright visiting student researcher scholarship to Washington DC from the beginning of October to the end of April. My hosting institute is the Nuclear Information Project of the Federation of American Scientists think tank. While I’m in the US, my primary goal is to conclude my dissertation on the Obama administration’s nuclear strategy.

I’m asking for your help regarding my accommodation. Ideally, I would like to rent a not too expensive flat (for the period of 7 months), in an easily accessible location from my hosting institute (which is very close to Farragut North metro station).
