[Unicum] Folk Dance and Music Camp in Sarasota: 03/09/2013 - 03/14/2013

About the Camp:
Our daily camp program will be based on age appropriate dance and music teaching.
 
Children will be divided into different age groups. We have counselors helping the instructors by leading and guiding children in group of six.
 
We provide 3 meals daily and a morning and afternoon snack for the children.
 
There are exciting games,arts and crafts,campfire,outdoor cooking,evening dance house,etc...which make this camp truly a unique experience.
 
For those who can only attend for the dance house (tanchaz) at night time,we deliver an unforgettable music and dance experience in a friendly,uplifting,soul warming atmosphere.
 
We will be hosting our Closing Ceremony on the last night of the camp where we perform what we've learned during the 5-day venue/workshop.
 
After the camp, we will be hosting a Tribute Gala concert to honor the heroes of the March 15th 1848 Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence. On the Program are the Hegedus Folk Band (Hungary), Peter Ertl, Laszlo Lukacs, Eszter Harant, Ottilia Varga and the Napraforgok Folk Dance Ensemble. The concert will be held at the Glennridge Theater,Sarasota on the March 14th, starting at 18:00.
 
Honorary speech by Dr Istvan Gergatz (Honorary Consul of Hungary), Eva Kisvarsanyi (President of The Kossuth Club of Sarasota).

Accomodation at the camp:
There are air-conditioned cabins with bunk-beds.
 Indoor/outdoor bathrooms with private showers.
 Outdoor torch-lit stage by a campfire arena.
 Lake Dot gives home to turtles, you can feed them.
 Large main lodge for dance practice,dance house (tanchaz) and dining.
