This role requires some running/physicality.Commitment is 1 Shooting day in mid-autumn, with the possibility of a second shooting day with the 2 nd Unit.Pay is $100/day for shooting days.THE URCHINGender: MaleEthnicity: AnyAge Range: 14-22No DialogueThe Urchin is a young boy or young man lost in the woods in winter, unprepared, and worried. Though he seems pitiable at first glance, he has a pure, kind heart and an inner strength. Project and Editorial Assistant

The Project and Editorial Assistant position supports the work of an economic policy research and advocacy firm participating in the national economic policy making process.

 

This position coordinates and oversees multiple writing projects, to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Your ability to visualize the big picture while tracking the details of project waypoints is important, maintaining workflow and progress. Organizational skills and scheduling experience are critical to ensuring that administration, writing projects and Congressional tracking are aligned.

 

Familiarity with Capitol Hill is required, as is the ability to work remotely but with good communication and connective skills.

Communications Associate

The position supports the work of an economic policy research and advocacy firm participating in the national democracy and economic policy making process. We are a motivated and passionate team that loves taking ownership of tasks, solving problems, and working towards results.

The Communications Associate will work with our team of analysts to manage our engagement in economic policy, legislative, and political projects via external and internal communications.

The work is a mix of internal and external communications management. The position involves coordinating with our team of policy analysts. This role requires persuasive and creative writing and critical thinking skills to execute our mission and goals on a digital platform from start to finish. In addition to strong writing skills, knowledge of Congress and the legislative process is key.

Experience in social media content management and project management are important qualities. The Communications Associate will need to work to establish our digital presence and amplify the team's legislative and political projects to website and social media content.

Tasks/Responsibilities
• Manage 20/20 Vision's online presence, social media
• Develop 20/20 Vision's social media presence
• Upload and send biweekly newsletters updating stakeholders on policy developments
• Draft copy, creating graphics, writing and editing campaigns, and more
• Performing quality assurance checks to ensure all social media content emails meet our excellent standards
• Measuring our KPIs and ROIs on the digital front
• Craft strategy, participate in content planning meetings, and drive project success

Requirements/Qualifications:
• Has a minimum of one to two years working in communications
• Has demonstrated interest in economic and democracy reform policy
• Believes in advocating for progressive policies
• Experience with Google Suites and Slack
• Experience with copywriting and content production
• Experience managing and tracking social media analytics on platforms such as Twitter and Linkedin
• Has experience working in policy/politics, Hill experience required
• Graphic design and Photoshop experience a plus
Independent Contractor with full-time, 40-hour work week expectation. Working hours are flexible but may periodically require working some nights and weekends. Hourly rate range is from $30 to $50/hour, commensurate with experience.
Time and a half overtime pay for holidays and work done outside the regular work hours (evening and weekend work).
Annual paid vacation, and unlimited, flexible unpaid vacation. Reimbursements, stipends to be discussed with finalists.

(Career Progress) JOB | Associate Director, Campaigns - Civic Nation

The Associate Director of Campaigns will help launch and manage time-bound and cycle based campaigns at Civic Nation (CN). Our campaigns empower trusted messengers with the resources needed to do effective outreach, create mass mobilization moments for partners, and leverage paid and earned media to raise awareness for the issues we engage on. 

This position will primarily work on campaigns to raise awareness and increase enrollment in new federal programs like the Affordable Connectivity Program, borrower relief programs, clean energy tax credits, and more over the next 18 months.

Reporting to the Director of Campaigns, the Associate Director of Campaigns will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day project management and coordination of one or more of these campaigns and assisting the Director in the implementation of all of our campaigns as needed.

This is a remote, short-term position that will end in December 2024, with the possibility to extend or move into a permanent position at that time.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The Washington, DC-based salary range for this position is $77,000 - $95,000 (will be adjusted for cost of labor for the incumbent's work location) annually, commensurate with experience. SALARY & BENEFITS

The Washington, DC-based salary range for this position is $77,000 - $95,000 (will be adjusted for cost of labor for the incumbent's work location) annually, commensurate with experience. Azért írok e-mailt, mert szeretnék részt venni a most szombaton megrendezésre kerülő Hungarian Heritage Festival-on, azonban nem rendelkezem autóval, és tömegközlekedéssel sajnos nagyon nagy távolságra van tőlem az esemény. 

Az lenne a kérdésem, hogy van-e esetleg valaki, akinek az autójában van egy plusz hely, és a fesztiválra menet fel tudna venni a Red Line bármelyik megállójában útközben?

Hungarian Heritage Festival April 29th, Saturday, from noon to 7:00 pm at 6801 GEORGETOWN PIKE, MCLEAN, VA 22101

We will hold the Festival rain or shine. Plenty of covered areas and indoor space will be available.

Traditional Hungarian cuisine: sausage, gulyas, stuffed cabbage, pig roast, scone (lángos), strudel (rétes) chimney cake (kürtöskalács), pastries, palinka and wine.

Hungarian market: Hungarian Apparel, Hungarian deli, sausage, salami, ham, Hungarian arts and handicrafts.

Hungarian folk music and dance show ALL DAY. Traditional Hungarian noodle "csigatészta" making workshop. Gingerbread decorating workshop, and many more fun activities.
