[Unicum] Vajdaság - USA

Tisztelt Magyar Közösség,

az Amerikai Magyar Koalíció új gyakornoka vagyok, vasárnap érkeztem Washington, D.C.-be. Szívesen értesülnék és részt vennék a programjaikon, szeretnék megismerkedni a diaszpórában élő magyar közösséggel.

A vajdasági Topolyán születtem, jelenleg Szabadkán élek, ahol a Kosztolányi Dezső Színház sajtófelelőseként és PR-menedzsereként dolgozok. A Desiré Central Station nemzetközi kortárs színházi fesztivál szervezője vagyok, valamint az Újvidéki Rádió "Beszélgessünk" című műsorának szerkesztője, amelyben olyan vajdasági személyeket szólítok meg, akikkel a nyilvánosság nem foglalkozik, mégis nagyon értékes emberek, és köztünk élnek. Egyetemi tanulmányaimat a Szegedi Tudományegyetemen végeztem kommunikáció és médiatudomány mesterszakon. Szeptember 15-éig maradok az USA-ban.

Az ősz folyamán három hónapot tervezek az Egyesült Államok levéltáraiban kutatni. Horváth Gábor javasolta, hogy keressem meg Önöket és kérjem tanácsukat, hol lehetne viszonylag olcsón megszállni, lehetőleg a felkeresett levéltárak közelében. New Yorkban a Columbia Butler Libraryben, Washingtonban a Nemzeti Levéltárban (College Park) fogok kutatni. Az előbbi helyen két hetet, az utóbbin két és fél hónapot tervezek tölteni, az útra elkísér a feleségem is.

Segítségüket, tanácsaikat előre is nagyon köszönöm.

The reason I am contacting you is because I receive a request for a Hungarian Interpreter for a small assignment in a wedding. This will be a blessing in a Lutherian Church the interpreter only needs to interprete for the father of the groom for three hours. The person who made the request wants the interpreter to let the groom father know what is happen but not necessarly word by word. It's party time!

Held Rain or Shine–Covered Area

(Corner of Tilden and Shoemaker, Van Ness Metro)

Hungarian students and young professionals in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area cordially invite you and your friends to our semiannual picnic.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and music. (If you would like to play soccer or volleyball, please dress appropriately). Your ideas and support in organizing the picnic would be appreciated. If you are interested in helping out send email to eniko.basa@verizon.net or szokolai@yahoo.com

The picnic is free but your tax-deductible contribution is welcome. This will guarantee the expenses of the following picnic. Everything is provided, just come and enjoy! We hope to have activities for kids and adults. Bring a soccer ball. Pets welcome.

[Unicum] 2017. június 4. - Református Pünkösdi Istentisztelet - Konfirmációi fogadalomtétel

Áldás, békesség!

Kedves Testvérek!

2017. június 4-én, Vasárnap 11:00-órától, Pünkösdi úrvacsorás istentiszteletet tartunk!
Ezen az alkalmon tesznek fogadalmat konfirmandus növendékeink és vesznek először úrvacsorát a gyülekezet közösségében.

Az istentisztelet ideje alatt a gyermekeknek külön gyermek-istentiszteletet tartunk.
A templomi alkalmat szeretetvendégség követi, ahol finom ételek, frissítő italok mellett lesz lehetőségünk beszélgetni. A szeminárium átépítése miatt ismét a kápolna előterében kaptunk helyet a szeretetvendégségre.
