nem szokásom ilyet tenni, de most kivételesen mégis megteszem, mert a fiamról van szó és mert közülünk való, itt járt cserkészetre, itt nevelkedett VA-ban.

Hunor Milanóban tanul matek-pénzügy szakon, első éves egyetemista. Egy pár zseniális társával együtt alapítottak egy céget (SAT Slingshot) amely SAT-re való online felkészítéssel foglalkozik. Nagyon sokat jelentene számára ha bekövetnétek a vállalkozását a Facebookon, ezáltal is segítve őt. Our Keynote speaker will be Spoken Word Artist, Writer & Librettist, Cultural Strategist Marc Buthumi Joseph (breakfast at 9am with the keynote speech at 9:30am). Spend the day with us as scholars and artists engage topics including dance education, theatre for young audiences, dance and culture across the diaspora, and the enduring legacy of August Wilson, among many others explored in our workshops and panels. Top the evening off with our Mock Ball hosted by DMV Kiki Nights.

This year's theme is “ABUNDANCE: Basking in Community and Allyship.” We invite you to join scholars and artists in dynamic conversations, community exchanges, and interactive performances. Together, we will uplift, witness, and center the power of storytelling, the essential practice of allyship, and the vital ways we sustain each other across the diaspora.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, collaborative, and excited to help support a small writer's room as we develop and write a 10-episode season over the course of 3 months.

Compensation:

$500 and credit plus you get to work with an award winning team of creatives

What you'll do:

• Take detailed notes during writer's room sessions

• Track story beats, character arcs, and episode developments across the season

• Help organize room materials, outlines, and drafts

• Maintain continuity documents and series notes

• Assist with script formatting, revisions, and version tracking

• Help keep the room on schedule and flag outstanding story questions

• Support the creator and writing team throughout the development of all 10 episodes

• Have the potential to co-write 1 script

Schedule:

The room will run for 12 weeks to develop and write a 10-episode season. Work will be remote.
