[Unicum] Hungarian lady on scholarship is looking for rent in Washington, D.C.

Dear Community:

I advertised yesterday looking for kitchen stuff for a Hungarian girl but now we got a bigger problem.  The basement apartment I found her had heating issues and she could not accept it.  She has a temporary situation until this weekend but she really needs to move the latest by February 1.

She is looking for a room that is:

-clean
-quiet
-good working condition (there is heat, sorry but it seems that I have to spell that out)
-in walking distance to any metro station, possibly in the NW area. DC only, please don't contact with MD and VA locations, even if it is close to metro.
-takes short term rentals (3 months)
-available immediately

She is a biologist on scholarship for 3 months, researching at the Smithsonian.

Please spread the words, if you have any information: please contact Katalin directly at sarkanyvihar@gmail.com or simply reply to this email and I will forward it.

sarkanyvihar@gmail.com

Thank you very much for your attention.

Sincerely,

Szilvia Mongelos

[Unicum] Hungarian student on scholarships needs pots and pans

Dear community,

A Hungarian student just arrived from Budapest researching at the Smithsonian for 3 months.  I found her a furnished place to rent already, she is moving today but now she needs things for the kitchen, such as pots and pans, silverware, plates, mugs, cooking utensils, bowls, tea kettle, blender, mixer, etc.
Also, she needs cleaning equipments and supplies.

Somebody is lending her a microwave for 3 months and she already has a hair dryer.

If anybody has anything to spare, please contact me.

You can drop it off at my work in Bethesda, or my home in Cabin John, I'm planning on taking over everything this coming weekend or you can take it yourself to her place in DC (Friendship Heights area), whichever is more convenient for you.

We need your immediate help, she is only here for a short period time, with basically nothing but a suitcase of cloths.
Please help her if you can.

Thanks a lot and stay safe!
