It depends on what area of practice you need legal representation in. For example, a real estate attorney is not qualified to accept--nor will he or she accept--a child custody case any more than an orthpedic surgeon will be qualified to accept a brain surgery case because it falls into the jurisdiction of a neurosurgeon

Yes, all attorneys know a little bit about all fields of legal practice--just as all doctors know a little bit about all fields of medicine--but not enough and not as much as one who specializes in it. And no ethical lawyer will accept a case outside of his field of expertise.

Also choosing a lawyer depends on what state you live in because laws can vary from state to state--sometimes even in different counties of the same state. Furthermore, the law requires that an attorney be licensed to practice in whatever state he undertakes to represent a client in. Many are licensed to practice in several states--especially those in the DC, MD, VA area.

[Unicum] WANTED: A small size Hungarian gypsy band near San Francisco, CA

Dear Unicum Readers,

A Hungarian American family is planning a small house party in a few weeks time at the end of the summer and they would love to have a small size Hungarian gypsy band.

This would be at a home near San Francisco, CA, so the musicians would really need to be Bay Area based.

Does any of you know of anyone who might have some recommendations? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

[Unicum] Délutáni bébiszittert keresünk szeptemberi kez

Két kislányunk van (6 és 12 évesek) és keresünk egy kocsival rendelkező bébiszittert aki elmenne a kisebbik lányunkért az iskolába hétköznap délutánonként 3:45-kor és utána foglalkozna a lányokkal illetve vinné őket délutáni foglalkozásokra (ballet, foci, stb). Délutánonként 2-3 órát kellenne dolgozni, lehetőleg nyáron is, időnként este is szóba jöhet megegyezés szerint. Az ideális jelölt előreláthatóan több évre is el tudja vállalni ezt az állást. [Unicum] Hungarian Freedom Fighters Federation - August Luncheon
