[Unicum] Hungarian folk music and dance performances in November

A beautiful Hungarian folk music and dance performance at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center featuring Rozsafa Ensemble. November 1st! http://cms.montgomerycollege.edu/CAC/UpcomingEvents/

Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 p.m.

Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center
7995 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland, 20910

Presented in colorful costumes and unique instruments, Hungary is famous for its lively folk dance and music.  Living Hungarian Folk Art is a family-fun performance that captures the authentic spirit of the Carpathian Basin — you'll feel like you are in a Hungarian village as you enjoy enchanting melodies, and even a short "dance house" — that's a Hungarian dance lesson! Béla Bartók — Hungary's most famous composer — used folk music just like this in his symphonies; Bartók has said that Hungarian folk traditions are "beautiful to the eye; beautiful to the ear"… and you'll think so, too!
