[Unicum] Disznótor/Pig Fest 2013

Dear All:

 

It is that time of the year again; we are getting ready to bring you another fun PIG FEST event with lots of Hungarian traditional meals (mostly pork based, but we now have "non pork eater" tickets as well).  The date is now confirmed, 3/16/13 SATURDAY, if you can, please come in tricolor in observance of the March 15th celebration of the Hungarian Freedom Fight of 1848-1849.  We plan a full day program with pony ride, folklore dances (not yet confirmed), and other festivities at Camp Olympia (Benedek Farm).  We started this tradition in 2002 in collaboration with the Hungarian America Foundation (http://www.hungarianamerica.com/) who kindly supported this event to this date and again this time, so we thank them again.  We also are very grateful to all at the Farm for letting us continue this tradition.  Please register and buy your tickets at this link: http://pigfest2013.eventbrite.com/

Kedves Unicum Olvasók!

  

Idén újra megrendezzük a szokásos éves washingtoni Disznótort, a Benedek Farmon (Camp Olympia) március 16-án vasárnap.  Tizenegy éve, 2002-ben csináltuk ezt először, azóta nagyon sokan vettek részt a multatságban, sok eseménnyel, tánccal, póni lovaglással, forralt borral, és persze sok sok disznósággal.  Ha lehet, viseljetek kokárdát vagy más módon trikolort, mivel a 48-as Szabadságharc március 15-i megemlékezése majdnem pont azon a napon lesz (többek közt azért nem PONT 15-én rendezzük, hogy a megemlékezésekkel ne ütözzünk).  Külön megköszönjuk mindenkinek a Benedek Farmon a támogatást és segítséget.  A Benedek Farm nélkül a DC Magyar Disznótor nem lenne.  Megköszönjük továbbá a Hungarian America Foundation segítségét és támogatását is.  Mindenkit kérek, h csakis a következő website-on (http://pigfest2013.eventbrite.com/ ) regisztráljon és vegyen jegyet.
