DOES ANYONE KNOW HUNGARIANS AFFECTED by HURRICANE SANDY?

While my heart and prayers go out to all--humans and pets--who have suffered because of Hurricane Sandy, I cannot help everyone although I wish I could.  

If there is a community of Hungarians affected, I'd like to drive up there after the elections with donations of shoes, boots, gloves, some clothing (all in superb and clean condition) plus some other things.

I'd like to organize a caravan to drive up to the New York-Jersey area.  It would cheer them up not only to receive a few things but to have Hungarians and Hungarophiles visit them.  

Is anyone in touch with a Hungarian church or organization(s) in the affected area where the clergymen would know who are the needy? Those of us who have trucks and vans can even carry larger objects up there such as furniture and space heaters.  

Instead of giving things away on Freecycle or selling them on Craig's List or e-Bay we could donate them to those affected by the hurricane.  And let's not forget pet food for dogs, birds, cats, bunnies, and everybody else.
