(Career Progress) Digital Organizer for Cory 2020

Essential Functions and Percentage of Time.
Build, engage and activate online communities (80%):
- Work with Digital Organizing Director to execute national digital organizing strategy;
- Serve as a community manager on Cory 2020 online organizing platforms including social media and peer-to-peer texting; and
- Work closely with digital and organizing teams to identify engagement and organizing opportunities;

Cross-team collaboration (20%):
- Implement digital organizing tools like Mobilize America, call tools, and peer-to-peer texting and train volunteers on how to use them; and
- Support state team needs as requested.

Competencies.
- At least one cycle of experience in digital or organizing;
- Understanding of social media and other online trends and how people engage in them;
- Quick ability to learn online digital organizing tools to create events, contact supporters, and organize online
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail; and
- Ability to work under deadline pressure;Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends.

Reports To Digital Organizing Director

Compensation and Benefits. Full-time, competitive salary including benefits such as 100%-employer-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for all staff, spouses/domestic partners, and their children; employer-paid premiums for life insurance for all staff; 20 accrued paid days off each year; 12 weeks of paid parental leave, and 12 days accrued paid sick leave.
