Dear Unicum Readers,

The Ambassador of Hungary, His Excellency László Szabó, MD cordially invites you to a free concert of DJABE, the number one Jazz/World Fusion band of Hungary on Friday, November 30, 8pm (doors open at 7:30pm) at the Ronald Reagan Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20004). Please see attached invitation.

Admission is free, but please RSVP by November 28, 2018 via email at RSVP.WAS@MFA.GOV.HU.

Djabe is the number one jazz/world fusion band in Hungary. It was established 22 years ago and since then, Djabe won numerous domestic and international awards and recognitions. The band already played in 42 countries. These first class musicians created their own, unique sound. Elements of jazz, rock, Hungarian, European and African folklore are mixed in absolutely natural, organic way. Wherever they play, Djabe is always warmly received by listeners and critics. Djabe means freedom in African Ashanti language. This freedom is the band’s approach to writing and playing music.

Their Washington show will include a very special guest: H.E. László Szabó, MD, Ambassador of Hungary to the United States - but this time as a guitar player!
