Aki még nem ismeri: a vizuális emlékgyűjtemény 2015-ben indult, életinterjúkat gyüjtünk amerikai-magyarokkal akik a második világháború után jöttek (DP-sek) vagy 1956-os menekültekkel. A listatagok közül már készítettünk interjút Csicsery Zsigmonddal, Csicsery Györgyel, Kádár Lynn Katalinnal és Kovács Istvánnal. Még sokan hiányoznak...

Dear Friends!
As many of you know, Andrea Lauer Rice and I have been conducting video interviews in the Hungarian American community with 1956-ers and DPs (who came to the US after WWII). We call this the "Memory Project," and to date, we have collected 35 interviews in 5 US locations and in Budapest.
During the course of this exciting project, we have been invited into people's homes and unforgettable memories have been shared with us. Andrea and I have been amazed and moved by both the common elements in escape stories and by the variety of dramatic experiences both in Hungary and in immigrant life in the US.
In this special 60th anniversary year of the Hungarian Revolution, we intend to gather many more interviews to more fully document the individual stories of escape and immigration that helped form the backbone of the Hungarian American community.
