Your job is to know what is going on with every project at all times—it's all about the details. This is not a job for the faint‐hearted. You must be a task master. As an account executive, you will have many responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Helping to develop strategic mail plans for clients based on polling and external information

• Managing the flow of mail pieces among clients, the art department, and production

• Interfacing with clients regarding mail pieces and targeting/data needs

• Managing the production planning system and working with voter files

• Creating and adjusting budgets

• Conducting in‐depth research on candidates, current events, and imagery

• Proofreading

Skills & Qualities:

• Great communication skills (excellent writing ability goes very far!)

• Thorough understanding of Excel and Access databases

• An eye for detail, ranging from numbers to the written word to aesthetics

• The ability to perform under pressure while working long hours

• Good grasp of the political sphere and current events

• High level of multi‐tasking ability

• Responsive to clients at any time of day or night

• Have an open‐mind and a good attitude
